Quiet Works for Cello & Commodore 64 is a collection of compositions for one cello and one Commodore 64. The Commodore 64 is usually known for the gritty 8-sound, generating saw and square basses, progressive synth melodies and dirty percussion. In this project the Commodore’s SID-chip has been explored for more subtle textures, combined with slow passages on the cello. The compositions has been released on USB-disc, packed in an oak block with a red cork.
